How to follow clubs and activity types you actually care about

Following a few strong clubs usually works better than searching from zero every time. Repetition helps you build rhythm and familiarity.

4 min read

Most active users do not search from zero every time. They follow a small number of clubs, event styles, or organizers that consistently match their schedule and level.

Start by saving two or three groups that feel close to your actual life. That gives you a more stable stream of relevant events and reduces the effort of deciding each week.

Following also helps with trust. Once you see the same organizer, event format, and member rhythm a few times, it becomes easier to decide quickly.

The goal is not to collect dozens of follows. The goal is to build a useful shortlist that saves time and reduces random decisions.

  • Follow two or three clubs that fit your weekly rhythm
  • Prefer consistency over endless variety
  • Pair follows with notification settings so you do not miss good events
  • Review your follows from time to time and keep only the relevant ones
